Amber is a compassionate and dedicated counseling intern who holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University. With a strong passion for helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and those in the LGBTQIA+ community, Amber strives to create a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore their emotions and challenges.

Amber's therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, which emphasizes the importance of understanding how past experiences shape present emotions and beliefs about oneself. She incorporates aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into her practice to help clients develop practical coping skills and strategies to manage their symptoms. Amber is particularly passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, and she is dedicated to helping her clients process and heal from their past experiences. Through a collaborative and empathetic counseling style, Amber works with adults and adolescents to identify and address underlying issues, develop coping strategies, and ultimately achieve a greater sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance. With a background working with families and children, Amber understands the unique dynamics and challenges that can arise within these relationships and is committed to supporting her clients in navigating through these complexities.

Amber provides services out of the Gilbert office, which is close to Queen Creek, Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler.
