Evolve Counseling provides a variety of child counseling services (ages 3+), including individual counseling, family counseling, parent-child relationship therapy, play-based therapy, emotion coaching, attachment therapy, and more.

We have providers who are trained to work with children as young as 3 years of age on issues such as behavioral concerns, emotional dysregulation (tantrums and outbursts), trauma, attachment concerns, social skills, anxiety (including separation anxiety), and relational concerns.

Our providers use an integrated approach to counseling and typically combine various approaches in a session, such as play-based therapy (both directive and non-directive) and skill-building, as well as provide developmental guidance for the guardians of the child at the end of each session. By including the guardian in the child’s treatment process, this promotes the caregiver’s ability to engage in behaviors between sessions that will assist client in reaching treatment goals, thus increasing the effectiveness of the therapeutic process.
