Joy Mrowiec MS, LPC

Joy is a licensed professional counselor who earned her master’s degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is trained in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). With a compassionate and collaborative approach, she tailors her work to meet the unique needs of each client.

Joy works primarily with adults, addressing a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, addiction, childhood trauma, relational difficulties, and adjustment issues. She also has a special passion for working with seniors, offering support for concerns unique to this stage of life, including grief and loss, caregiver stress, navigating retirement, loneliness, chronic illness, and coping with life transitions.

 

Joy strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel valued and empowered to explore their emotions and experiences. She is committed to helping individuals gain greater clarity, resilience, and fulfillment in their lives, whether they are processing unresolved pain from the past, adapting to life’s transitions, or building stronger relationships.

 

Joy provides services out of the Chandler office, which is close to Phoenix (Ahwatukee), Tempe, and Chandler
