Kari Hansen, MA, LPC

Kari has her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from North Greenville University, and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Development from Winthrop University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association. She gained experience in both a private practice counseling setting and a mental health inpatient program as an intern at The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health and the Community Counseling Clinic at Winthrop University. Kari worked extensively with adolescents and adults with anxiety, eating disorders, and complicated grief. 

 

Kari is passionate about working with adolescent, young, and adult females, especially in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, stress management, eating disorders, and life transitions. She works from a person-centered approach, and her goals are to meet people exactly where they are, provide a safe and welcoming environment where they feel supported throughout their journey, and encourage them in reaching their full potential.
